Comedy.
Synopsis: [?] [From The Moving Picture World]? Luke is a butler. He doesn’t like his work, but he likes his job. It gives him a chance to wear a dress suit. He’s a bum butler, too. Snub, a gallant, who is sweet on the madam’s maid, runs afoul of Law and Order, two cops, and takes refuge in the house of his own true love, Trouble. Then in strolls a cop fond of the cook and fonder of her pantry. Luke and Snub have dealings with the cop. More trouble. Then in comes a burglar. He knows there’s nothing in the place worth stealing, he just busts in so’s he can be arrested. He’s tired of paying room rent. He gets up into the room of the lady of the house, and with the assistance of a professional brother, scares the lady out of her bed and into a fit. Still more trouble. Then the crowd below makes an unenthusiastic attempt to get the gunmen above. Most trouble. Luke gets his hands on a brace of regular revolvers and while he’s worrying about what he’s going to do with them, the burglars walk into them and, Luke laughs last.
